Dom here - thanks a lot for stopping by! I've wanted to do something like this for a long time, but it wasn't until recently that I actually found the time and resources to attack some of the projects I've been dreaming of since I began my career as a software developer over 15 years ago. I've found a lot of joy in building tools and sharing them with my coworkers over the years, so I'd like to help pass on the lessons I've learned and how I've been approaching problems all this time in hopes that I can give my audience a different way of thinking about them and help solve them in new and clever ways.
As things evolve here, I imagine there will be a large focus on software development and delivering to you, the audience, the tools, tricks, and tactics I've deployed over the years to hurdle even the scariest obstacles - while making solutions into interesting and fun challenges.
Things are changing a lot right now; there have been incredible advancements in AI/LLM assistants and tools. I've found in my journey of learning to work with AI agents that I'm independently coming to the same conclusions and developing the same strategies that industry leaders are developing and reporting to the public, and around the same time. As a result, I figure I may also have some tips and tricks that you can use to enhance your workflow and achieve more exciting accomplishments!
I've just recently started really pushing the limits of the software development lifecycle with AI agents to see what we can accomplish together. I've spent a lot of time throughout my career gathering and refining requirements from project stakeholders, transforming those into user stories while keeping the technical requirements of the project as a whole in mind, and providing feedback to developers to make sure the requirements are properly met, and I've found that those skills transfer very nicely to working with a team of coding agents.
